Mirage doors has recently completed the supply and installation of 54 roller shutters to the new Cope Sensitive Freight warehouse in Yatala on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Working with the builder CIP constructions, the doors were manufactured with very little lead time, delivering on the client’s deadline.
Mirage Doors have recently completed the supply and installation of a Series 2000 counterweight door for St Columba’s Catholic School in the inner Western Sydney suburb of Leichhardt.
The S2000 counter weight door features an offset folding leaf. This particular door was designed with 75% of the external leaf swinging outwards and 25% swinging inwards. The design can be modified to suit specific client or building requirements.
With the frame finished in a Dulux Anotec XT Mid Bronze Powder coat and full glazing, the S2000 will be a feature in the new school hall building.
Mirage Doors has recently been involved in the $655 million redevelopment of Eastland Shopping Centre in the Melbourne suburb of Ringwood. The project has increased the size of Eastland by 55 per cent, up to 131,000 square metres. The number of shops has increased by 120 to a total of 350.
Japanese store Uniqlo, Swedish retailer H&M and Gorman were just some of the retailers new to the centre.
Mirage Doors were instrumental in providing at least 50% of the shopfront doors in the centre.
With a deadline of 29 October, most of the doors required detail, manufacture and installation within 3 weeks.
The final stage is ongoing and expected to open in June 2016.
Stage two of Stocklands Wetherill Park has just arrived at shop fit stage, with the expectation of opening for Christmas trade.

Mirage doors have recently completed the supply and installation of a Fiesta door at the Oroton shop in Sydney’s T3 Domestic Terminal.
Oroton wanted a product that is easy to use and that would showcase their latest airport store. The Mirage Fiesta Stacking Door fitted those requirements and was selected.
The door stacks off to a stacking portal on one side via our Parallel tracking system. This type of tracking system allows for the doors to be moved in a parallel state and then simply stack back at 45 deg in the cupboard.
Each panel is unique and consists of 6.38mm laminated glass encased in an aluminium powdercoated frame. The product can be tailor made to suite any size opening or application.
Mirage Doors has recently completed the supply and installation of a Fiesta stacking door for the new Sephora shop in Macquarie Centre, North Ryde.
As an upmarket retail brand, Sephora wanted a high end shopfront to reflect their image.
The Fiesta spans an impressive 11 metres wide and 3 metres high. During trade, the door stacks off to a side closure via a 90 degree chicane track system. When in the closed position, store access is made possible by a single egress door.
Each panel consists of 6.38mm laminated glass encased in an aluminium frame, powder coated in a Satin Black.
The Fiesta door is made to order and can be customised to suit individual customer needs and any shop front size.
Mirage Doors has recently completed the supply and install of 1 off Series 3000 electrically operated counterweight bi-fold door for the new Basement HQ shop in Rouse Hill Town Centre.
The door was finished to complement the outdoor shopping centre design, with black satin power coat frame and European Ash timber cladding.

Mirage Doors NSW, working with Watpac Constructions have successfully manufactured, supplied and installed five Series 3000 Bifold Counterweight doors.
The doors were installed at the Overseas Passenger Terminal Circular Quay, overlooking Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Given the location of the works, construction took place with minimal disruption to the day-to-day operations.
Mirage Doors has been successful in securing subcontracts from Watpac for four new schools under the Qld Schools Project rollout. The schools at Pallara, Griffin, Ripley and Caboolture West represent 140 steel and aluminium roller shutters which will be manufactured in Mirage’s upgraded manufacturing facilities at Carole Park. Site work will be commencing in August 2015 and progressively continuing through until June 2016. These four schools are part of an overall project of ten new “greenfield” schools being built by Watpac in emerging new suburbs in and around outer Brisbane.
The work with Watpac follows on successful completions last month for them at the Gold Coast Private Hospital and Mater Private Hospital Springfield projects.
Mirage Doors has just completed Stage 1 of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (S.C.U.H.) at Birtinya. This hospital is the first brand new hospital on the Sunshine Coast in over 30 years. Mirage’s relationship with Lend Lease has been successful and prominent for many years, and the successful installation of approx. 220 roller shutters on the Gold Coast University Hospital project in 2013 / 2014 was a strong precursor in securing this latest contract.
Mirage is currently in negotiations with Lend Lease on Stage 2 of the S.C.U.H. project, and are hopeful of a successful outcome by the end of July.
