Part Projection Steel Construction

Ideal where internal obstructions prevent doors retracting fully within the building.

RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS
Series 1000, Single Leaf projection counterweight door, as manufactured by Mirage Industries Pty Ltd., Australia.

FRAME
The frames are constructed from steel hollow section and designed in accordance with AS1170.2-2002 and AS4100-1998, to withstand wind loading as required in the closed position and provide minimum deflection in the open position. 

FINISH
The Standard finish is a prime paint to the frames and guide channels. Other options include enamel paint, powdercoating and polyurethane paint. Hot dipped galvanising is recommended for corrosive environments.

CLADDING
Colorbond® Steel Sheet, Aluminium Sheet, Bar Grille, Weldmesh, Amplimesh, Timber, Glass, Acrylic. Discuss any other requirements with a Mirage rep.

OPERATION
Smaller doors may be operated by hand, with a pull down rod supplied when doors are out of reach. Alternatively, it may be power operated by a single or 3 phase motor incorporating a clutched drive system.

LOCKING
For manually operated doors, sliding padbolts are fitted to the bottom of each side-padlocks are supplied by others.
