RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS
For 100m wide slat -  Galvanised Steel Roll Formed Roller Shutter
with 100mm wide at 0.6mm, 0.8mm or 1.0mm thick material as manufactured by Mirage Industries Pty. Ltd., Australia. Product Code SR/CDSA/100

STANDARD CURTAIN
The Series 100mm are available in  0.8 and 1.0mm thick slate.

CURTAIN ALTERNATIVES
Slotted Slats (Ventilation) -
Any number of the slats can be punched with a 138mm wide x 40mm high hole (with a unique 20mm centre brace).

Multi-hole Slats - The slats can also be continuously perforated with 2.41mm diameter holes @ 3.66mm staggered centres prior to rolling. (This allows maximum air flow as the holes are over the entire surface area of the slat). This gives effective 40% ventilation per slat.

ROLLER DRUM
The roller drum will be a robust seamless steel tube encasing the shaft and helical counterbalance spring. The end caps and roller bearings are designed to give smooth operation.

GUIDE CHANNELS
Galvanised roll formed guide channels with a 2.5mm wall thickness for 60mm guides and a 3.0mm wall thickness for 100mm guides.

SUPPORT BRACKETS
The support brackets are fabricated from mild steel plate and designed to be fitted to a solid fixing point of adequate strength to support the weight of the door and any wind loading that may be required. (Adequate fixing points to be supplied by others.)

BOTTOM RAIL
The bottom rail is fabricated from 50mm x 50mm Duragal steel angle securely fixed to the front of the bottom slat. (Bottom of angle protruding to inside of opening). An extruded aluminium bottom rail is available which can incorporate an optional weather seal.

OPERATION
Hand Operated - Small shutters may be hand operated, with a pull down rod being supplied if the shutter is too high to reach. (Maximum 6mē).

Hand Chain Operated - The door is operated by using a hand chain through a reduction gear box mounted on one end of the drum.

Power Operated - Motorisation includes three phase, one horsepower motor incorporating a standard reversing contactor and a hand chain override in case of power failure. All wiring and setting of limits and mounting of the contactor box by others. Other optional extras may be 1.5HP, 2HP, single phase or high cycle motorisation. For remote control and automatic operation option, please contact the Mirage office in your State.

LOCKING OPTIONS
