RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS
Series 70 Steel Heavy Duty Roller Grille with 19mm tubes and 40mm wide links as manufactured by Mirage Industries Pty Ltd., Australia. Product Code SR/H.D.G./70.

SIZES
This grille is designed to suit openings from as small as 1 metre wide and up to 10 metres wide with a maximum of 40 metres square.

CURTAIN
19mm x 1.2mm thick galvanised tubes are connected by 40mm wide x 2.5mm thick zinc plated blue mild steel links. Each link is riveted to the horizontal tube at jigged spacing of 500mm centres. The end of every tube has a nylon end shoe to reduce noise and take up wear.
Wind locked ends are available as an optional extra to prevent the withdrawal of the grille curtain from the guides.
This curtain will give an effective 65% airflow.

BRACKETS
Fabricated from 10mm mild steel plate and prime coated.

ROLLER DRUM
Manufactured from prime coated 165mm seamless steel tube designed to support the curtain with a minimum of deflection.

CHANNEL GUIDES
As standard, shall consist of a heavy duty galvanised 100mm x 38mm x 2.9mm thick roll formed channel. Optional extra high security windlock side guides are also available.

OPERATION
Depending on the size of these doors they can either be:
►Hand chain operated.
►Motorised operation.
►As a standard, Mirage Industries will supply a three phase, one horsepower "Grifco" MD 58 motor with a "Grifco" RC 374 standard reversing push button contactor with an overload including an emergency hand chain. 

Note: When motorised, please contact a Mirage Technical Advisor, as additional clearances are necessary. All wiring of electrical components and the supply of power are by others unless stated otherwise in the written quotation.

FINISH
The bottom rail, guide channels and tubes are galvanised steel with zinc plated blue steel links.

BOTTOM RAIL
Consists of a rectangular 80mm x 40mm galvanised steel section.

For openings in excess of 7000mm wide add 50mm to the bundle roll-up diameter specified below.
