RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS
Series 70 Aluminium Extruded Heavy Duty Roller Grille
with 19mm tubes and 40mm wide links as manufactured by Mirage Industries Pty Ltd., Australia. Product Code AE/H.D.G./70.

SIZES
This grille is designed to suit openings from as small as 1 metre wide and up to 10 metres.

CURTAIN
Aluminium tubes of anodising quality are connected by extruded solid aluminium links. Each link being 40mm wide x 2mm thick is riveted to the horizontal tube at jigged spacings of 500mm centres. The end of every tube has a nylon end shoe to reduce noise and take up wear. This curtain will give an effective 65% airflow.

BRACKETS
Fabricated from 10mm mild steel plate and prime coated.

ROLLER DRUM
Manufactured from prime coated 165mm seamless steel tube designed to support the curtain with a minimum of deflection.

CHANNEL GUIDES
Shall consist of a heavy duty extruded aluminium section measuring 80mm x 35mm wide when applied between wall fixing (refer to drawing below). The same section with the added fixing leg which measures 105mm x 35mm is used when the guide channels are installed behind nib fixing (refer to drawing below). An optional plastic rubbing strip can be fitted to one inside face of the guides. Two guide sections may be fixed back to back to make up a standard centre mullion at 173mm wide.

Manually operated by hand.
Hand chain operated.
Motorised operation. As a standard Mirage Industries will supply a three phase, one horsepower "Grifco" MD 58 motor with a "Grifco" RC 374 standard reversing push button contactor with an overload including an emergency hand chain.

Note: When motorised, please contact a Mirage Technical Advisor, as additional clearances are necessary. All wiring of electrical components and the supply of power are by others unless stated otherwise in the written quotation.

FINISH
The aluminium bottom rail, side channel guides, links and tubes will be supplied as standard in mill finish (Raw aluminium). Also available in an optional clear anodised finish (Matt Natural).
