"ELITE" STEEL TRUCK SHUTTER

Galvanised roll formed 48mm wide slats

The "New Elite" steel truck shutter is the result of many improvements to an already popular and proven product. Even with these improvements this shutter is still the most economical on the Australian market.

RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS
The "New Elite" galvanised steel roll-formed Roller Shutter complete with 100mm diameter aluminium pre-tensioned drum, and one piece ZincalumeŽ brackets and guides as manufactured by Mirage Industries Pty Ltd, Australia. SR/ELITE/48.

SIZES
A single door is available to suit an opening up to 2.5 metres high by 2.5 metres wide.

CURTAIN
Made of galvanised steel roll-formed slats. Each slat has a smooth surface and is 0.55mm thick. Both ends of every second slat are fitted with a solid nylon clip that secures the slat laterally and takes up wear.

BRACKET
Fixed position front roll with pre-fixed steel guide channels. The ZincalumeŽ bracket head is supplied pre-welded directly to the guide channels. This makes for an easy and fast installation.

ROLLER DRUM
The drum is manufactured from 100mm diameter extruded aluminium tube, solid nylon end caps and a solid steel shaft. Helical coil oil tempered springs are completely concealed and supplied pre-tensioned ~ again making for an easy and fast installation. The solid round steel drum shaft has each end milled with two parallel flat sides at each end. These ends drop into the "U" shaped end support saddles. The shaft is fixed into place by a high tensile bolt and a nyloc nut.

CHANNEL GUIDES
1.6mm thick folded ZincalumeŽ channel @ 22mm deep x 23mm wide. Refer to drawing below. These channels are supplied pre-wired to the bracket head.

BOTTOM RAIL
The new bottom rail is an extruded aluminium section that incorporates a full width rubber seal as standard. A heavy duty finger pull extrusion is fixed to the front of the bottom rail.   

LOCKING OPTIONS
As standard the "Elite" truck shutter is supplied with plated flat sliding pad-bolts to each end of the bottom rail. These pad-bolts slide into the locked position ready to receive a padlock (Padlocks supplied by others). Other optional locking devices are available on request.

FINISH
he slats are galvanised, brackets and guides are ZincalumeŽ with the drum and bottom rail in mill finish (RAW) aluminium.

RECENT IMPROVEMENTS

All the improvements made to the "NEW ELITE" truck shutter are now standard.

Galvanised Steel Shutter Slat - Now 0.55mm thick for added strength.
Nylon End Clips - Now moulded in nylon for longer life.
Heavy Duty Aluminium Finger Pull - Attached to the bottom rail - for ease of operation and added strength to the bottom rail.
Bottom Rail Weather Seal - Now standard.
Individual ID. Labels - For ease of ordering spare parts or new doors of the same size.
Extruded Aluminium Drum - More strength with less weight.
Pre-fixed "U" shape shaft support - For easier installation and security. 
Solid Steel Shaft - With square ends to suit bracket saddle.
High tensile bolt with nyloc nut - For secure locking of shaft into place.
New spring fixing lug - For added strength.
Brackets and guides now galvanised - For longer life.
One piece bracket & guides - For faster installation and smoother operation.
