RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS
Chase-Durus "Durulite® Doors", as supplied by Mirage Industries Pty. Ltd., Australia (The Australian & New Zealand exclusively Licenced Distributors).

DOOR
All Durulite® semi-rigid double acting doors feature a patented monolithic (one-piece) moulded construction with a cross-linked polyethylene outer skin which will retain its properties to -4.4°C. The Durulite® door body has no gaps or joint seams and is impervious to moisture, acids, petroleum products, animal fats, rodents, insects or salt solutions.
Durulite® door panels are formed in place with high-density urethane foam and are available in partially or fully gasketed models. All gaskets are easily replaceable without the use of rivets, screws or other fasteners.
Durulite® doors are specially constructed of lightweight materials, so they open easily, operate smoothly, allow for damage free and safe passage for personnel and equipment.
All Durulite® insulated impact traffic doors operate on a cam lift action gravity return mechanism. An optional "hold open" type hinge is also available.

STEEL DOOR JAMB
As standard, Mirage supplies with the door, a prime painted only steel jamb, constructed from 150 x 75 x 8mm thick channel. (Unless otherwise specified)
. Other frame fits available.

TYPES
The Durulite® doors are available in two types - the "Standard" and the "Industrial".
The main difference between these doors is the thickness of the outer moulded skin:
 - 3mm for the "Standard"
 - 6mm for the "Industrial".
The "Standard" is suitable for pedestrian and hand trolley traffic, while the "Industrial" is designed for fork-lift traffic when spring bumpers (tear drop) are used in lieu of the standard flat kick plate.

SIZES
There are a number of different sizes of doors available. Due to the manufacturing process of the doors requiring individual moulds to produce each size of door, it is not possible to order a customized size of door, i.e. "Special". It is therefore important when quoting and ordering the doors that the correct size or sizes are obtained.
PLEASE CONSULT YOUR MIRAGE SALES REPRESENTATIVE FOR DETAILS OF CURRENT SIZES AVAILABLE.

COLOUR & FINISH
All doors exhibit permanent colour fastness. The colour will not fade when exposed to sunlight or weather and requires no pre-finishing of any kind.
Durulite® doors are available in a range of colours - contact your Mirage sales representative for samples and exact colour matches.
