MIRAGE DOORS FEATURES IN HIGH SECURITY PROJECTS
Mirage products continue to feature in a number of high security applications in Qld. The most recent projects are the Gatton Correctional Centre near Toowoomba and the Lotus Glen Correctional Centre near Cairns.
Mirage Doors has a long and proud tradition of having its products installed in correctional centre projects throughout Australia; and our products are renowned for fulfilling the key criteria of high security, Windload compliance, ease of operation and long term durability.
Our products are also featured on many police stations, courthouses and remand centres throughout Australia.
MIRAGE DOORS SECURES THE GOLD COAST UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL PROJECT
Mirage Doors has been successful in winning the various roller shutter packages at the Gold Coast University Hospital project with Lend Lease. This is currently Queensland's largest construction project. For Mirage, the scope of work involves some 400 roller shutters which are installed in a wide variety of applications such as loading docks, reception counters, fire hose reel cabinets, store rooms and for the rooftop services.
Apart from having our products specified, we also had to satisfy a range of contractual conditions including compliance to the most contemporary OH & S conditions, demonstrable QA processes and development of non - standard product options.
MIRAGE DOORS CONTINUES ITS SUCCESS WITH SHOPPING CENTRE PROJECTS
Since its inception in 1966 Mirage Doors has been proudly associated with shopping centre projects throughout Australia. Our products are installed in the store entries of both national retail chains and local stores, corridors, loading docks and reception counters. Our products cover aluminium and steel roller shutters, folding closures, counterweight doors and roller grilles.
In 2011 we have secured subcontracts for major shopping centre extensions at Canelands Mackay, Gracemere (Rockhampton) and Westfield Carindale. There are also a large number of Coles Group, Woolworths Group, Myer, K Mart, Target and IGA stores that have been upgraded with Mirage Doors.
DEFENCE DEPT. SUBCONTRACTS SECURED BY MIRAGE INDUSTRIES
Mirage Doors has a long, proud tradition of successfully executing subcontracts on Defence Facilities throughout Australia. This tradition commenced in 2000 at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville and progressed to other facilities such as Robertson Barracks in Darwin, HMAS Albatross Nowra NSW, Kokoda Barracks Canungra Qld and RAAF Amberley Qld.
In 2010 we successfully executed a subcontract with Laing O'Rourke for the design, manufacture and installation of 11 no. Bifold counterweight doors up to 18 metres wide for the various aircraft hangars at RAAF Oakey.
Our latest success has been in securing the roller shutter subcontracts with John Holland at Enoggera Army Barracks, which encompass some 140 steel and aluminium roller shutters.
