Since it’s inception in 1967, Mirage Doors has evolved to become Australia’s premier manufacturer of roller shutters, roller grilles and specialised door systems.
The family owned business pioneered the design, manufacture and installation of roller shutters and roller grilles for retail and commercial premises. With the emergence of shopping centre malls in the 1970’s, Mirage products have and continue to feature in the vast majority of retail developments throughout Australia.
Our continued presence in shopping centres has been complemented by the introduction of local and overseas specialist door systems such as Durus® traffic doors (USA), Robinson Truck Shutters (UK), Counterweight Doors, SD300 Folding Closures, Tropicana Plantation Louvre Shutters and the Fiesta range of Folding Doors.
Combined with our extensive product range, Mirage Doors offers regional manufacturing capabilities and superior project management competencies.
COPORATE
In August 2008 Mirage Doors became part of the Steel–Line Group of companies. Steel-Line is an Australian owned and operated company who are market leaders in design, manufacturing, distribution and installation of an extensive range of steel, aluminium and timber garage doors and automatic door and gate operators.
Steel-Line has been operating for more than 29 years across Australia, starting as a family business and has since grown to 30 national branches and independent dealers, with over 570 employees and in excess of 800 distribution outlets Australia wide. We also have global representation with a presence in the UK and Saudi Arabia.
In April 2007, Steel-Line was acquired by the private equity firm Crescent Capital who have an aim to significantly increase the companies operations and market share over the next few years.

Special custom made doors are also available, allowing our customers to incorporate their own design, colours and materials.
